Welcome to ITW Elearning!

To see summaries of the courses in the “ITW Business Philosophies” elearning program, click the “Course Summaries” button at the left.

To access the ITW Learning Center log-on screen, click the
“Enter” button (to the left). Please read the instructions below
carefully before entering the Learning Center for the first time.

1. To view the training module(s), you will need to:
   • Be sure you have the following plug-ins:
   • Flash Media Player
     Download from www.adobe.com
   • Windows Media Player (Version 9.0 or higher)
     Download from www.microsoft.com
   • Ensure you have Internet Explorer 5.0 (or higher version).
     Note: the courses will not function properly on Netscape browsers or on Mac computers.
   • Be sure that you have downloaded all Microsoft Windows updates.
2. To enter the ITW Learning Center, you will log in using the information provided by your business unit's Elearning coordinator:
   • Login ID
   • Password
3. When you log in for the first time, you will be prompted to change your password.
4. After logging in to the ITW Learning Center, you will see a list of training courses; i.e., ITW 80/20 Philosophy. In the column labeled “Action,” click on the “Enroll” link. Once you have enrolled successfully, this link will change to “Launch.”
5. Once in the module, you may exit at any time by clicking on the “X” button in the lower left corner of the course page. You may set a “bookmark” when prompted, so that when you enter the module again, you can start where you left off. You may enter and exit the module as many times as you like. (Note: do not exit in the middle of the final assessment. The assessment must be taken in one sitting for it to correctly update your course status to “Completed.”)
6. After completing the Assessment section at the end of the module, click on the Exit (X) button located at the lower left corner of the page.
7. You may close the remaining windows on the screen until you return to the ITW Learning Center page. Once you have completed the assessment, and your status has been updated to “Completed,” the “Launch” link will change to a “Review” link. You may click on the “Review” link to review the module.
8. To log out of the ITW Learning Center, click on the “Log Out” link in the upper right corner of the screen.
